Perham picks up first win, goes 2-3 at weekend tournament

Team has three two home matches coming up.


The Perham Yellowjackets picked up their first win of the season at home over Hawley, then went 2-3 at at weekend volleyball tournament.

On Friday, Sept. 10, at the Southwest Minnesota Challenge in Marshall, The Yellowjackets lost to Chaska and Eastview, both 0-2. Saturday, Sept. 11, they won 2-0 over both Totino-Grace and LeSueur-Henderson, before falling 1-2 to Burnsville.

The Yellowjackets get the win over Hawley in an Heart Of Lakes Conference battle 3-0 (25-23, 27-25, 25-20) on Thursday, Sept. 9, in Perham.

The Yellowjackets host Pequot Lakes on Tuesday, Sept. 14, and Pelican Rapids on Thursday, Sept. 16.
