Perham takes fifth in St. Michael-Albertville Invitational

The Perham wrestling team went down to St. Michael-Albertville for its first competition of the season and went home with a fifth-place team finish.

The Yellowjackets had a team score of 126.5, which edged out St. Croix Falls by seven points for a top-five finish. STMA won its invitational with a 238.5

Brian Ramos won the 182-pound division, while Reese Willprecht took home first-place honors in the heavyweight class. Two more Yellowjackets finished in the top three in their weight classes. Blake Lorentz took home a third-place finish at 160-pounds, while Hudson Hackel took third at 195.
