Yellowjacket girls fall at Breckenridge

Breckenridge-The Perham Yellowjacket girls basketball team suffered a 51-42 defeat at the hands of Breckenridge on Tuesday, Dec. 16.

Breckenridge defended its home court with a strong second half. It outscored Perham, 32-20, in the second half, to pull away from the Yellowjackets.

Ally Christensen led the way for Breckenridge. She finished with a game high of 15 points.

Breckenridge controlled the glass in the contest. It out-rebounded Perham, 41-28.

Janie Wunderlich led the way for the Yellowjackets. She finished with eight points. Wunderlich, Michaela Sondag and Marina Reese hit two 3-pointers each in the game.

The Yellowjackets led by three, 22-19, at the half. However, could not slow down Breckenridge in the second half and were outscored, 32-20.
