The Perham Yellowjackets had a conference-high four players named to the Heart O' Lakes girls basketball all-conference team: Katie Johnson, Sydney Anderson, Grayce Mickelson, and Stella Raser. Yellowjackets Mya Morris and Willow Thiel were awarded HOL honorable mentions.
One highlight of the season was senior Katie Johnson scoring her 1,000th career point . Although the Yellowjackets were knocked out of tournament play earlier than expected, overall they had a successful season, finishing with a 12-7 record.
Greta Tollefson of Pelican Rapids was named the Heart O' Lakes Conference Most Valuable Player.
Pelican Rapids head coach Brian Korf was named the coach of the year.
Also named all conference were Kylie Crabtree, Kaylie Crabtree and Anna Steer of the Hawley Nuggets; Annika Reierson of the Frazee Hornets, three players from Breckenridge: Carcie Materi, Jude Held and Grace Conzemius, along with a pair of Barnesville Trojans: Abby John and Lauren Halverson.
