Proceeds from the sales of Powerade products go to area high schools

The program’s goal is to encourage active lifestyles through the support of school athletic programs, within the Viking Coca-Cola Bottling Co. franchise territory.

Participating area high-schools include: Fergus Falls, Underwood, Battlelake, Hennings, New York Mills,Perham, Breckenridge, Mahnomen,Lake Park-Audubon, and Rothsay.

Jim Waclawik, Jim Stock, Connie Mort, Fred Sailer, Ehren Zimmerman, and Pat Helmeke of Dean's.

PERHAM — Viking Coca-Cola Bottling Company is directing a portion of its sales of the products Powerade and Powerade Zero back to participating high schools under a program callled "Powerade 4 Schools."
Money will be collected on all Powerade and Powerade Zero products sold throughout the Viking Coca-Cola Bottling Co. territory and then divided to high schools based on a percentage of purchased beverages.
