The Perham Yellowjacket boys basketball team cruised in their tune up for their Martin Luther King Jr. Classic clash with the Esko Eskomos by disposing of the Hill City Hornets in Hill City, Minn., on Jan. 16.
The Yellowjackets spread out the scoring with five players in double figures when they cruised to a 92-26 road victory.
Jenson Beachy led all Perham scorers with 19 points. He collected 10 rebounds as well for the double-double.
Aaron Solberg brought the Perham fans to their feet in a dominant first half with a two-handed jam. He finished with 15 points for the Yellowjackets.
Reid Moser added 15 points, while Zack Tellinghuisen finished the game with 14 points. Dawson Honer ended with 10 points as well in the win.

It was a good opportunity for the Yellowjackets to stretch their bench in the win. Ten Yellowjackets recorded points in the victory.
Mason Watkins led the way for the Hornets. Watkins finished with 21 points, leading all scorers.
The Yellowjackets improved their season mark to 13-1 overall with the victory.
