FARGO, N.D. - The North Dakota State women's track and field team travels to Des Moines, Iowa for the 103rd running of the Drake Relays Thursday, April 26 through Saturday, April 28. 14 members of the team will compete against some of the nation's best in a variety of individual events and relays. Action for the Bison will kick off Thursday at 4 p.m. with the women's unseeded 800 meters. Live stats for all three days will be available on GoBison.com. Live video will be available through GoDrakeBulldogs.com. Three members of the team will compete at Gustavus Aldophus Saturday, April 28.

Bison women win 4x400 at Mt. SAC Relays

The team of Antoinette Goodman, Paige Stratioti, Melissa Kitching and Brittany Schanandore won the 4x400 relay title at the Mt. SAC Relays Friday, April 20. They posted a winning time of 3 minutes 40.02 seconds, which ranks third all-time at NDSU. In the steeplechase, Maddie McClellan won the 'C' race in 10:31.64, which ranks third in school history. Amy Jo Thorne was second in the 'B' race in 10:30.02, which is second all-time at NDSU. Overall, the Bison had eight performers post all-time top 10 performances on their California trip at the Mt. SAC Relays, the Bryan Clay Invitational and the Beach Invitational.
NDSU women No. 13 in Midwest
In the latest USTFCCCA regional rankings released April 24, the NDSU women's track and field team is ranked No. 13 in the Midwest region. NDSU is the only Summit League team represented in the regional rankings.
Bison lead league in eight events
Antoinette Goodman currently leads The Summit League in the 200 meters (24.00) and the long jump (19-4 1/4) as the NDSU women hold the top spot in eight events. Paige Stratioti leads the 400 meters in 54.07, while Brittany Schanandore leads the 800 in 2:07.17. Toni Tollefson is first in the high jump with a mark of 5-8 3/4 and Twila Moser leads the heptathlon with a score of 4,556 points. The Bison also lead in both the 4x100 and the 4x400 relays.
