Hawley-The second ranked team in Class AA, the Hawley Nuggets, earned 57-32 victory over the Perham Yellowjackets in girls basketball on Thursday in Hawley, Minn.
The Nuggets used a balanced attack with eight players recording points, three of them in double digits.
Tavia Lawson led the way for Hawley. She finished with 13 points. Jody Noreen and Olivia Olson added 11 points each in the win.
Josie Beachy was the leading scorer for the Yellowjackets. She finished with nine points. Carolynn Baardsen added six.
It was the Yellowjackets seventh straight game away from the Prairie Wind Middle School gymnasium.

The extended road swing for the Yellowjackets continues on Monday evening. The Yellowjackets will take on Frazee in Frazee at 7:30 p.m.
The next home game for Perham will be on Friday, Jan. 16. The Yellowjackets will take on Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton at 7:30 p.m.
