DETROIT LAKES -- Perham golfers Rachel Nelson, a junior, and eighth-grader Becca Huus shot 86 and 88, respectively, to place third and fourth at the Pelican Rapids Invitational at Wildflower Tuesday, April 24.
Perham finished in third place in the team standings with a cumulative score of 388.
Staples-Motley won the event shooting 367. The host Vikings were runners-up two strokes back at 369.
Emily Israelson, of Staples-Motley was the medalist of the tournament turning in a low card of 82. Her teammate Cierra Waverek placed fifth shooting 88.
Crookston's Monica Wold was the Invitational's runner-up with a score of 82.
