HAWLEY -- Pelican Rapids, led by medalist Mackenzie Strand's 40, captured the Heart O' Lakes Conference meet in Hawley by 19 strokes over Perham.
Rachel Nelson was Perham's low scorer carding a 46, good for fourth place n the individual standings.
Strand's 40 was four strokes better than Rylee Danielson of Hawley/Ulen-Hitterdal and five better than Sammi Hammer, of Barnesville, in third place.
Destiny Mitchell put up Perham's second lowest score with a 50; Becca Huus shot a 51; Shannon Karels scored 57 and Liz Sonnenberg rounded out Perham's runner-up total with a 58.
Perham holds second place in the conference with six points, three back of Pelican Rapids.
