The Perham Hot Shots wrapped up the high school shooting season at the Minnesota Clay Target Championships at the Minneapolis Gun Club in Prior Lake, Minn., on Friday, June 22.
The team finished the tournament with a score of 465 to finish in 23rd place overall. St. Michael-Albertville became the first repeat state team champion by scoring a 491. New Prague and Park Rapids both finished with 485 for second-place honors.
Aaron Clark was the top shooter for Perham during the event. He finished with a score of 98. He hit 24 and 25 targets in the first round and followed that up with 24 and 25 in the second round.
Wesley Vroman finished with a 96 at the state meet. His first session, he started with 23 and 25 targets. He finished with 22 and 25 targets hit in the second round.
Kyle Hanson finished the day with a 95. He had rounds of 24 in the opening session. He followed it with a 25 and a 21 in the second session. Tanner Rastadt finished the day with a 93. He had opening rounds of 24 and 25, while hitting 23 targets and 21 targets in the second round.

Caleb Clark finished the day with an 85. He had rounds of 18 and 21 in the first session, while hitting 23 in both of his rounds during the second session.
