Perham's trap shooting team takes second place in conference

The Perham Hot Shots trap shooting team took second place in their conference after five weeks of league competition. The team's total season score was 48,192, just behind Alexandria, which finished with a score of 49,029.

Shiloh Henderson took third place individually in the conference with an average score of 22.4, which was only three birds short of the first place finisher.

Two athletes also made the top 100 in the state. Aaron Clark tied for 74th with an average score of 23.7, and Gabe Clark tied for 88th with an average score of 23.6.

The league's state championship will be held in Alexandria on June 20, and it is a qualifying event for the Minnesota State High School League trap shooting state tournament in Prior Lake on June 25. Only the top 40 teams in the state qualify.
