BATTLE LAKE
Minnows are producing walleyes during the day in 17 to 25 feet, as are crankbaits during low-light periods in five to eight feet at Clitherall Lake, Otter Tail Lake, West Battle Lake, and East Battle Lake. Spoons or sucker minnows are turning northern pike on the weedlines of Otter Tail, West Battle, and South Turtle Lake. Bass are an easy catch in 10 to 17 feet at Fiske Lake and Stalker Lake. Look for panfish on top of the weeds over 12 to 20 feet at Clitherall, Fiske, West Battle, and Stalker. Muskies remain very active on West Battle as well. Duck and goose hunting continues to be poor.

DETROIT LAKES
Muskie action has been very good with minnows and bucktails in 12 to 14 feet on Big Detroit Lake. Minnows are providing the best walleye action in 25 to 30 feet or 14 to 18 feet on lakes such as Big Detroit, Sallie, Pelican, Big Cormorant, and Melissa. You'll find panfish in 10 to 14 feet at Little Detroit Lake, Sour Lake, Floyd Lake, and Severson Lake. Duck hunting continues to be poor and it doesn't appear that more birds moved into the area.
