DL center Brenna Price went on a 6-1 run of her own against the Yellowjacket defense to spread DL’s advantage to 34-28.
The Jackets answered with back-to-back baskets from Sydney Anderson and Stella Raser, but Ellie Lunde scored for the Lakers in return and Price pushed the Lakers back up nine points 43-32 with consecutive scores. A Lunde bucket with four-minutes and 20-seconds left in the game gave DL a double digit lead of 45-35.
Perham would get no closer than seven points down the stretch as the Lakers sealed the game late from the free throw line. The Lakers were 15-22 (68 percent) at the stripe.
Price led all scorers with 23 points. Lunde added 10. Anna Cihak scored eight points.
