Ken Pream's annual firearm safety training begins in Dent, Monday, August 16.
According to Pream, this is the last chance for young hunters to take the class before deer hunting season opens.
The classes meet twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays for four weeks from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Participants must be at least 12 years of age by the opening of deer season.
The class location is at the Dent Lions Club.
