Perham Activities meeting set for Aug. 14

The high school sports season kicks off on Aug. 12 with the opening day of practices for Perham football, volleyball, girls tennis, boys and girls cross country and girls swimming and diving.

Football practice begins at 8 a.m. on Aug. 12 with the locker room opening at 7 a.m. Volleyball kicks off opening day at 9 a.m. at the Hive, while girls tennis will being at 8 a.m. at the Perham Tennis courts. The cross country season kicks off with practice at 4 p.m. on Aug. 12 at Paul Miller Park. The girls swimming and diving team will begin practice at 1 p.m. on Aug. 12 at the Perham Area Community Center.

The Perham Activities Department will be hosting a "Back to Activities" Parent and Student meeting on Aug. 14 at the Perham High School Great Hall at 6 p.m. All seven-through-12 grade students and parents involved in athletics are encouraged to attend for an overview on Yellowjacket Activities, registration info and MSHSL policies.
