The Perham boys basketball team cruised to its 15th straight win with a 74-28 victory over Park Rapids Area on Feb. 3 in Park Rapids Area.
The Yellowjackets started strong and never looked back in the rout. Perham outscored the Panthers 38-15 in the first half and added to the lead in the second half by outscoring the Panthers 36-13, giving the home team little to cheer about.
Finn Diggins and Charlie Rasmussen led the way for Perham. Diggins finished with 26 points, while Rasmussen added 17 points. They were the only Yellowjackets in double figures. Perham had 11 players record points in the game. Gunnar Anderson added eight points, while Grant McMartin and Elijah Morris had five each.
Nicholas Michaelson finished with 11 points to lead the Panthers.
The Yellowjackets moved to 15-0 on the season and continue its busy week on Feb. 4 when they host the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. at the Hive.
