The Perham/New York Mills/Henning swimming team concluded a busy week with a dual meet on Sept. 20 in Park Rapids Area.
The Yellowjackets swam in different events compared to swimming in their usual events. It gave the team an opportunity to change things up as the season goes along. Park Rapids Area finished with 125 points, while Perham/NYM/Henning finished with 58 points in the dual meet.
The 200 medley relay team of Irene Mursu, Maggie Ingebrand, Olivea McDonald and Lacy Richter finished first with a time of two minutes, 7.82 seconds. Dena Fischer finished first in the diving competition. She ended with a score of 216.95 points.

Mursu had the top time for Perham in the 200 freestyle at 2:20.48, while Oakley McNair was fourth in the 200 individual medley at 2:59.97.
Madi Ebeling had the top time for Perham in the 50 freestyle at 30.23. McDonald came in third at 1:20.51 in the 100 butterfly, while Lizzie Dale was third in the 100 freestyle at 1:08.33. Irene Mursu came in third of the 500 freestyle at 6:22.75.
The relay team of Richter, McDonald, Dixie Carow and Mursu came in second of the 200 freestyle relay at 1:53.20. Ingebrand came in fourth in the 100 back at 1:22.76, while McDonald was second in the 100 breaststroke at 1:22.22. The event closed with the relay team of Ingebrand, Ebeling, McNair and Carow finishing third at 4:37.45.
The Yellowjackets return to the pool with a meet on Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Detroit Lakes Community Center.
