The Perham/New York Mills girls tennis team returned to the win column with a 7-0 victory over Parkers Prairie on Sept. 22 in Parkers Prairie.
The win moved the Yellowjackets back above the .500 plateau at 5-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets prep for their final two meets of the season before they head into section play.
The Yellowjackets won three of the four singles matches in straight sets, while taking one of the three doubles matches in straight sets against Parkers Prairie.
Keira Radniecki earned a three-set, marathon win over Ava Marquardt at No. 1 singles. She dropped the first set 5-7, but came back to win the second set 6-3 and won the third 10-3.
Avery Beachy defeated Aili Toyli in straight sets at No. 2 singles. Beachy dropped just two games on her way to a 6-1, 6-1 win.

Mallory Belka followed with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Elizabeth Vogt at third singles, while Jane Gudmundson was victorious over Ashley Vogt at No. 4 singles. Gudmundson won in straight sets 6-2, 6-0.
The duo of LaVonne Lindberg and Kendra Moris earned a 6-1, 5-7, 10-4 victory over Hannah Samuelson and Joey McKeown at No. 1 doubles.
The team of Maya Radniecki and Alivia Trepanier cruised to a 6-1, 7-5 victory at No. 2 doubles. They defeated Audrey Ruckheim and Abbi Ruckheim.
Trinity Covington and Eva Vorderbruggen picked up a 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 victory at No. 3 doubles when they defeated Emerson Marquardt and Elizabeth Harstad.
The Yellowjackets close out the regular season with a pair of home matches. They host Staples-Motley at 4 p.m. on Sept. 24 and take on Wadena-Deer Creek at 4 p.m. on Oct. 1.
