Perham senior Finn Diggins was selected to play in the Minnesota Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game held April 17.
Diggins was chosen by a panel to attend the game. According to Perham head coach Dave Cresap, Diggins and Fergus Falls' Dominic Aguilar were the two players from the area selected to participate. Diggins' team finished second, and he finished with 11 points in the first game and 7 points in the second game.
"He showed he belonged in this game," Cresap said. "He represented the Jackets very well."
Additionally, Diggins, along with senior Elijah Morris, were also chosen for the Heart O' Lakes All-Conference team, which is voted on by other coaches in the conference. Both were instrumental in the Yellowjackets success this season, and Cresap was pleased they were both named to the team.
"Both were very deserving of this award," Cresap said. "I am very proud of these two on all their accomplishments over the past years."
