North Dakota State University wrestling commit Ty Moser has impressed for years at Perham, the Yellowjacket senior has been turning heads since middle school.
But Moser's name doesn't just show up on the stat-sheet, as he putting up big numbers in the classroom too with a 3.99 GPA.

"We're a student-athlete and the student part comes first and I kinda took that to heart" Moser said. "And I guess for me it was more the idea that I'm not always going to be an athlete at some point my athletics are going to be over and at that point the grades really take over."

Moser's teammates have taken notice of his dedication to his studies, "I think that's a rare thing nowadays to see a kid who is well rounded," teammate Leighton Rach mentioned. "Who can get it done like I said in the school, on the mat, on the field he seems to show up everywhere."
Moser and Perham will take on Fairmont in the Class AAA semifinals Saturday in U.S. Bank stadium at 4:30 P.M.
