The Detroit Lakes football team put on a clinic in its 49-6 win over Perham in the Battle for the Paddle. The Lakers gained 600 yards of total offense including 290 yards rushing from Ethan Carrier and 145 yards receiving from Mason Carrier. The Lakers spoke about the added motivation following last year's heartbreaking loss to the Yellowjackets.
