Clay target: Hotshots lead 7A-Conference 2 after week two competition

PERHAM – The Perham Hotshots are leading the 7A Conference 2 standings after two weeks of competition thanks to a few standout performances.

Colby Vroman and Maddox Wagner each scored 48 with two perfect rounds of 25. Rorey Lindquist Dominick Hammers and Jaden Nagel and Preston Shaw each put up scores of 44 in week two.

There were 14 Hotshots that eclipsed the 40-point mark. Gage Dulski, Logan Myers, Allison Jorgenson and Wyatt Watercott hit 43, with Kadne Felt at 41. Neil Sautter and Carter Zacharaison each hit 41, with Isabella Pazdernik at 40.

Five Perham shooters cleared 45 points in the first week of competition. Vroman and Dulski were each one point off of a perfect score at 49. Lindquist hit 47, while Calvin and Seth Berry hit 46 and 45.

Perham is in first place in the conference standings with a score of 15,604.5. Buffalo (15,402.5), New Prague (14,522.5), Fairmont (13,180) and Benson (13,079.5) round out the top five.
