Clay target: Perham Hot Shots land 10 in 7A-Conference 2 season standings

Perham's Gage Dulski, left, Seth Berry, middle, and Colby Vroman were the top three varsity shooters for the Hot Shots this spring and finished in the top eight in the season's conference standings.
PERHAM – The Perham Hot Shots are gearing up for the state trapshooting meet in Alexandria June 13-21. Several Perham clay target shooters finished in the top 25 in the conference standings this season.
For the boys, Colby Vroman had the second- best average at 24.3 in the 7A – Conference 2 boys standings. Seth Berry and Gage Dulksi tied for eighth with New Prague’s Owen Hartmann at 23.0. Maddox Wagner tied for 25th with an average of 22.2.
Allison Jorgenson took second place in the girls standings with an average score of 21.1. Hannah Zachariason was right behind Jorgenson in third place at 21.0. Shyanne Watercott and Amanda Jorgenson tied for seventh with 18.8. Alyssa Hartmann rounded out the Perham top-25 finishers in 22nd place with an average of 16.1.
The Hot Shots have 10 graduating seniors this spring, and have two practices left before the state meet in Alexandria. It’s the largest trap shooting event in the world.
Perham's Anna Jorgenson finished second in the 7A Conference 2 standings with an average score of 21.1. She was named the top female shooter for the Perham Hot Shots for the 2022 season.
