Girls hockey: Breckenridge-Wahpeton stymies Lakers

DETROIT LAKES- Breckenridge-Wahpeton completed a season series sweep over Detroit Lakes on Thursday night.

Scoring woes continued for the Lakers as the Blades walked away with a 7-0 victory.

B-W scored two goals in the first and third periods and three in the second. The Blades held the Lakers to only 11 shots on goal.

Reagan Wohlers had two goals and three assists. Kennedy Schuler had a hat trick and an assist. Holly Ovask, Anabel Pausch and Alison Hoerer each had multi-point games.

On Saturday, the Lakers fell against the Prairie Centre Blue Devils 6-0. Natasha Ludwig and Allie Lemke each scored a pair of goals in the shutout win. Kennedy Lemke made 46 saves for the Blue Devils.
