Gymnastics: Perham loses close one to Bemidji

The Perham gymnastic team fell in a home dual against Bemidji.

PERHAM- The Perham gymnastics team welcomed Bemidji to the Nelson Rec Center on Tuesday night.

Behind two first-place finishers, Bemidji walked away with a 134.8-128.8 win.

The Lumberjacks’ Aubrey Dewitt finished with the top all-around score of 33.8. She grabbed a first-place finish on the bar (8.5) and second on the beam (8.6).

The Yellowjackets’ Elise Reuter finished with the second-highest all-around score at 32.1. Eve Foltz (31.2), Andie Janke (30.4) and Breahna Rodewald (26.2) finished behind Reuter.

Rodewald finished in first place on the vault (8.9) and on the floor (9.1). Janke finished behind Rodewald on the vault with a score of 8.7.
