Volleyball: Yellowjackets get back on track with sweeps of Pelican Rapids, DGF

The Perham volleyball team swept Pelican Rapids and Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton last week to snap a six-match losing streak.

PERHAM – The Perham volleyball team got back on track last week with a pair of sweeps over Pelican Rapids and Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton.

The Yellowjackets (9-11) beat the Vikings (6-8) 25-23, 26-24 and 25-12 for their second consecutive win on Thursday.

Two days earlier, Perham knocked off DGF (5-10) in straight sets. The Yellowjackets beat the Rebels 25-19, 25-17 and 29-19 behind nine kills from Morgan Burkman. Willow Thiel and Jaden Hackel each had eight kills.

Perham will finish the regular season with home games against Barnesville and DGF before traveling to Hawley and Pequot Lakes.
