The Yellowjackets will host one of four quarterfinal events on Thursday, Feb. 16, at The Hive. The play-in matchup starts at 6 p.m., with the quarterfinals beginning roughly 20 minutes after.

Pequot Lakes-Pine River-Backus earned the second seed in the east. They will take on the winner of third-seeded Alexandria and sixth-seeded Albany. Thief River Falls earned the top seed in the west. The Prowlers will get the winner of Fergus Falls and United Clay Becker. Detroit Lakes, the second seed in the east, hosts the winner of Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton and Roseau.

In the semifinals, the top seed in the east will take on the lowest seed in the west in the section semifinals, which could set up another dual between Perham and Detroit Lakes. The final two rounds of the Section 8AA tournament will take place on Friday, Feb. 17, at 6 p.m. in Thief River Falls.
