Wrestling: Rach, Vetsch earn top-2 finishes at St. Michael-Albertville

The Perham wrestling team kicked off its season at the St. Michael-Albertville Invitational on Saturday.

The Perham wrestling team hit the mat this past Saturday at the St. Michael-Albertville Invitational. The Yellowjackets finished in third place with 110 team points.

St. Michael-Albertville took the gold with 274.5 team points. Waconia finished in second at 187.5.

Perham had one first-place finish and three more top-three individual finishes. Braylon Rach took the top spot at 170-pounds. Jaxon Vetsch (285) finished in second, while Tiegan Detloff (126) and Carson Byer (145) both finished in third in their respective weight classes.
