The Richville Rockets and the Perham Angels combined to take a second place finish in the Lakes Area Little League All-Star Tournament.

In game one, the Reds defeated New York Mills 11-8.

Martin LaFond, Ryan Kalina and Ben Winkels were 2-4 for the Reds.

Jace Kovash picked up the win on the mound and was 3-4 to lead the Reds.

LaFond homered and picked up the save while Ty Moser and Tanner Rastedt added RBI hits.

In game two, Kovash was 3-3 with two home runs.

Kalina added two hits and LaFond blasted a three-run homer to lead the Reds over Wadena 6-5.

LaFond's homer tied the game in the fourth inning and Kovash's blast gave the Reds the lead in the fifth.

John LaFond notched the win in relief of brother Martin and Kovash notched the save for he Reds.

In the championship, the Reds were held two only two hits by LaFond and Kovash, as Frazee won the game 8-0.

Logan Wacker was 3-3 and picked up the shutout to lead Frazee.
