With four away matches to start the season and a handful of players pulling double duty with the section runners-up tennis team, Perham volleyball players have been road warriors to start the season and are finding success while putting on the miles.

Perham rallied from being down two sets to one to remain undefeated in three matches after defeating Walker-Hackensack-Akeley in Walker 3-2 Thursday night in Walker.

The two teams split 25-22 sets to begin the match, the Wolves taking the first and the Jackets responding in the second set.

W-H-A took control and a 2-1 lead in the third winning 25-20, despite the Yellowjackets recording their best attack percentage per set on the night.

Perham had team-highs in the second and third sets with 14 kills against seven errors.
