Wells to be inducted into the Hall of Fame

The Minnesota Amatuer Baseball Hall of Fame Board announced the 2019 inductees into the Minnesota Amatuer Baseball Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame inductees for 2019 are Cold Spring's Dave Hinkemeyer, New Germany's Ron Lehrke, Cologne's Craig Pexa, Belle Plaine's Dave Wagner and Dent's James Wells.

The Induction Banquet will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the River's Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud, which is the home of the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame Museum.

The Hall of Fame celebrates Wells who, for the love of the game, has made outstanding contributions to Minnesota Amateur Baseball which traces its history from 1857. The Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame traces its history from 1963 with 301 members from 161 cities.
