The Perham wrestling team cruised to its 19th straight dual meet victory when they disposed of Fergus Falls 78-3 on Jan. 11 in Fergus Falls.
The Yellowjackets captured 13 of the 14 matches, winning by fall or forfeit. Blaze Brady, Owen Werner, Ezekiel Pechtel, Jack Fudge, Matthew Bush, Dylan Fudge and Jose Lopez all won by fall.
Gareth Covington, Gabe Bellefeuille, Wyatt Guck, Dawson Kellogg, Zach Peterson and Ty Moser picked up forfeit wins for the Yellowjackets.
The lone win for Fergus Falls came at 285 when Dustin Portales earned a 7-1 decision victory.
The Yellowjackets improve to 19-0 in dual meets and return home for the KLN Super Dual on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 11:30 a.m. The Yellowjackets will host the second-ranked team in Simley at the Prairie Wind Middle School gymnasium. The Yellowjackets enter the contest as the fifth-ranked team in Class AA.
