Moorhead-The Perham Yellowjacket swimming team went on the road to swim against the Moorhead Spuds on Thursday night.
The Yellowjackets suffered a 134-44 defeat in the team score; however had many positives individually from the meet.
Perham Head Coach Trent Swanson said after the meet that things are progressing in the right way for the team.
Mason Skorup shattered his personal records. Jaden Cummings did the same for the Yellowjackets as well.
Patrick Murphy was first in the 200-freestyle for the Yellowjackets. He finished the race with a time of 2:09.20.

The Yellowjacket 200-freestyle relay finished with a time of 1:58.55 to take second place. The team consisted of Murphy, Skorup, Michael Beach and Andrew Cullen.
The Yellowjacket 400-freestyle relay finished first as well. The team of Murphy, Skorup, Beach and Cullen finished with a time of 4:38.97.
Next action for the Yellowjackets will be on Saturday at 12 noon when they compete at Detroit Lakes.
