A black bear visited the Paul Lewin farm south of Richville in late April and enjoyed a snack of suet meant for birds. Lewin estimates the bear was about eight-feet tall and it hung around his farmstead for a couple of hours on the afternoon of April 23. The bear returned in the evening when it spent about an hour eating from the suet block.
