15-year-old passenger suffered leg injuries; parents not seriously injured
Blair Anderson, 69, of Fairfax, Minnesota, died from his injuries after a large branch from a tree struck him while he was cutting down several trees at a farm southwest of Olivia.
Chance Jacobson, Hatton, North Dakota, was injured on July 18, 2022, when he was driving a side-by-side utility vehicle home after an afternoon of checking on and repairing pasture fences.
A 57-year-old man from Canby died Tuesday after driving into a construction zone on Minnesota Highway 68 in western Minnesota where his vehicle struck a sign and rolled over, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
A 22-year-old man is dead after a crash Monday in Kingston Township. Two juvenile passengers were also involved, one with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash, reported at 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, in rural Hackensack.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a plane that had taken off, but had not arrived at its destination, reported at 6:44 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28.
An Underwood man reportedly crashed his tractor into a tree on Aug. 25 and was only somewhat conscious when first responders arrived at the scene. The man was transported to Sanford Hospital in Fargo as a precaution and is not believed to have suffered any threatening injuries from the crash, an Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office news release stated.
The man was traveling westbound on Highway 113 when he lost control of the motorcycle and went into a roadside ditch on the north side of the roadway. He was transported to a nearby medical clinic with non-life-threatening injuries.
